The "Shop with Cops" Organization is designed to help effect a beneficial change in our youth by teaching respect, building trust and friendship, and instilling values.

The children are paired up with an officer then head to a local shopping center where each child receives a set amount to shop for Christmas.

Why is this outreach so very important for our kids at Christmas? This is the one time of year all children are filled with excitement and awed wonder of Santa Claus. It is a time of renewed hope for all children, regardless of their economic status or upbringing. I am sure all of us can recall an event in our childhood that emanates fond memories of special occasion, filled with excitement, kindness and caring. This is the kind of memorable event we attempt to accomplish each year through the "Shop with Cops" program.
